Congratulations Dan & Samantha Sides!

Why spend the time to develop a piece of printed marketing collateral when, with the stroke of a few keys, your product information can reach millions of online users? The reason why print is alive and well in this electronic age: printed advertising, when done well, ensures the customer gets the message and remembers it.

Print changed the world. In the 15th century, the invention of the printing press made previously inaccessible information widely available. Then, with the introduction of the internet to the general public in 1989, the world changed again. Everything that had been available in print was now available faster and cheaper, and you could read everyone's opinion on any topic.

The internet is flourishing and is an important medium for communicating information. However, print is still just as relevant. It is useful as an effective supplement to web marketing, or can sometimes even act as a better advertising solution than electronic communication altogether. Producing a printed piece gives the audience something tangible to hold, and establishes a sense of permanence. This helps develop a customer's relationship with the product being marketed because they have not only seen something, they have felt it and have been engaged by it. In today's fast-paced electronic society, it is easy to dismiss printed advertising as archaic and unnecessary. However, while electronic media is flashy and instant, it is strictly two-dimensional. Printed materials can have raised surfaces, different finishes, thickness, and can be made into 3-dimensional, often functional pieces (like packaging). Electronic marketing is disposable, whereas a printed piece sits on your desk or in your pocket. Here's what a current client says about our print promotions:

“From day one of opening our doors to the public we’ve strategically implemented phases of a marketing campaign. The response from the public has been overwhelming... The results would not have been possible were it not for Sides Media Studio. They leveraged industry contacts on our behalf to reduce the prices of print materials. ”

Despite the great appeal of web advertising in today's modern age, printed media still holds an important place in society. Neither print nor web can do everything the other can, and because of that they are most effective when used together.
